Replatforming ManagementPlatform SelectionProject DeliveryRequirements GatheringRFP ManagementWe work with brands to run comprehensive and informative workshops around focused topics (e.g. loyalty) or broader areas (e.g. internationalisation) to help with planning and definition.
Our ecommerce consultancy team deliver workshops with clients, which are primarily designed to help assure a project, scope out key areas within a project, or support clients with solving a complex ecommerce challenge.
The purpose of running these workshops is to provide an accessible approach for tackling specific streams of work - ensuring clients are fully prepared for the business projects ahead. The workshops are fixed scope pieces of work and would typically be structured in the following way.
Initial discovery call - to understand the core objectives, any complexities and definition of scope. The deliverables from Vervaunt’s side would be agreed upfront at this stage.
Preparation & research - after the initial call, our team would prepare for the primary workshops by setting out a list of questions and discussion points that will enable us to gather detailed context in order for the right solutions to be put forward. We'll also carry out research to collate any specific examples or best practices that will be useful for the project.
Workshops - these are typically half day sessions focused on solution scoping, with the objective of getting enough detail to document next steps and actions. The outcome from these sessions is to provide a detailed plan of action and next steps for the specific project.
Presentation of plan, solution or spec - we’d then present back with our suggested approach, a plan, a spec etc.
This is an effective way to work because the scope is fixed and so the client is able to get maximum value in a shorter amount of time.
Examples of workshop projects we can deliver include:
Loyalty / VIP - a series of workshops to define and document new loyalty programs, with deliveries including documentation around loyalty mechanisms, briefing and advisory on front-end design and mapping the loyalty customer journey etc.
Internationalisation - we commonly run workshops on international expansion, usually focused quite heavily on the technical and architecture side (along with areas like payments, price books, traffic handling etc.) and defining a phased launch plan. Recent examples have included assisting multi-channel businesses in their launches of EU and US stores.
Subscriptions - projects focused on building out subscription propositions, selecting the subscription vendor and payment provider and any integration considerations. From a front-end perspective we also map out key areas of functionality to optimise the user journey across key touch points.
Forecasting - reviewing demand, trade plan and inventory and building out forecasts for key marketing channels.
Bespoke functionality - A series of workshops to scope out bespoke functionalities (e.g. the creation of a 3D configuration experience).
