Outside of its native Germany, and a few other European countries such as Switzerland and the Netherlands, the Shopware platform is relatively unknown, and it’s not currently one of the first choices in the enterprise market. However, with 17 years of experience behind it, and more than 60,000 live stores worldwide, the firm’s recent launch into the UK market has set it on a path to a broader client base and much better recognition in the enterprise space.
To understand what Shopware is capable of, a good starting point is to take a look at some of the big brand clients already using the platform. At the moment, most of these big name retailers are based in Germany, with a smattering of firms from continental Europe, but nonetheless, they provide a good insight into the performance, functional depth and user experience that can be delivered by Shopware.
Shopware are gradually winning some nice stores in the UK and I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of them over the next couple of years.
