Vervaunt is a London-based eCommerce consultancy and paid media agency - focused solely on supporting and driving growth for brands and retailers.

We started in late 2017 and haven't looked back - we're really proud of our team and the clients we work with. We have a small team of passionate and energetic consultants who are obsessed with building strong relationships with clients, that ultimately help us to achieve our combined goals.

We're eCommerce-only - we see our deep, hands-on knowledge and experience of key eCommerce areas as our main differentiator, on both sides of the business.

We are a senior-led team - we have knowledgable consultants working directly with clients, becoming an extension of their teams. The average person at Vervaunt has over 5 years' experience in their field. Vervaunt was started by two best friends and our culture reflects this - we're a super close team and we want to work with people that really buy into what we're doing.

The eCommerce consultancy offering is largely focused on technology and customer experience, with projects ranging from platform selection or hands-on replatforming support to roadmap definition. Key services we provide include eCommerce strategy, replatforming support and PMing, UX auditing, roadmapping and hands-on eCommerce support.

Our performance marketing service spans across all paid channels (search, social, shopping, display, affiliate marketing, creative and more) and we tend to be more involved than the average agency, running regular workshop sessions with different teams to better businesses, inventory and supply chain, technology, and profit margins.

The team

  • Been working in ecommerce since 2008. Worked on a wide variety of large ecommerce technology & CX projects. Spoken at various ecommerce conferences around the world.

  • Working in paid media for over 8 years. Specialises in Google Shopping and paid social. Spoken at various ecommerce events around the world about paid media and Google Shopping.

  • Has been working in eCommerce since 2015. Mostly worked for enterprise retailers, such as BHS, Arcadia and Urban Outfitters. Strong background in managing and delivering large projects.

  • Previously managed accounts for BMW, Nintendo, and Schwarzkopf. Specialises in search and advanced reporting. Leads the day-to-day Vervaunt Paid Media offering.

  • Paul has worked in ecommerce across multiple platforms since 2008. Generally getting involved in the commercial and strategic elements of replatforming projects and ongoing roadmaps.

  • Liam joined Vervaunt as a Solution Architect in March 2020, bringing with him a wealth of Shopify Plus and general technical knowledge and experience. Liam has been working in eCommerce for over 8 years and previously managed the development team at a leading Shopify Plus partner agency. Liam is focused on architecting technical solutions and also has a background of being a full-stack developer.

  • Lauren has over ~6 years experience across organic and paid search and social and has a wealth of experience working with international accounts from previous agencies. Lauren joins us in an Account Director role to work with our clients on their paid media strategies.

  • Tim joined Vervaunt in March 2021, coming from an in-house role at World of Books, where he led performance marketing. Tim has previous experience of working for agencies also and brings a wealth of eCommerce paid media experience with him to Vervaunt.

  • Completed an MSc in Branding at UEA Business School. Widely considered to be the smartest person at Vervaunt. Works on a number of our key accounts, across search, social, Amazon and shopping.

  • Bethan has worked in affiliate marketing and partnerships experience since 2017, specialising in growing affiliate programmes globally for premium and luxury brands in the retail sector.

  • Josh joined Vervaunt in May 2021, having previously worked in a number of other Marketing roles for eCommerce-focused agencies. Josh has a very strong background in strategic marketing and brings with him ~7 years' experience.

Community

Vervaunt's History

Vervaunt was founded in September 2017, with a goal of creating a market-leading paid media service for mid-market retailers and a hands-on eCommerce consultancy offering. These remain the only two services that Vervaunt offer and the key focuses within the two departments remain the same.

Paul and Josh started Vervaunt having worked together on a number of projects for some of Paul’s consultancy clients, with Josh helping to deliver proof-of-concept paid media campaigns
